Praying for Friends Entering New Seasons

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 To my sweet friend entering a new season in life, I know I do not tell you near enough. but you mean the world to me. God has blessed me continuously with your friendship and I want you to know that I have prayed for you and with you throughout every season in life since we became friends. I know that right now you are in a season of life where everything is new and it may seem overwhelming at times, but I want you to know that I have your back and most importantly God is watching over you.

A new season of life is a special and exciting thing, no matter how the past season turned out. Maybe the season you just came out of was as painful as Ruth leaving her life and deceased husband behind to begin a new season trusting God and following her mother in law, or maybe it was the best season in life that you could have asked for. Either way, the past is the past and God has given you this new season to grow you into the woman that He has called you to be.

A lot of times my prayers for you come out in verses instead of my own words.

One of the verses that I have constantly prayed over you is…

"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."

Psalm 16:11

I pray that God makes known to you the path in life that He wants you to take. I pray that you always feel his presence and find fullness of joy in Him. And I pray that you always remember that with Him in your heart there are pleasures forevermore.

Praying for a friend, especially one as amazing as you, has blessed me in so many ways. It has made me become so much more aware of how God is doing amazing things through you and how He uses our friendship for not only us but for His glory as well. I think that is the truth with any friend that you pray for. God uses the prayers of our hearts towards one another to bring us closer to each other and closer to Him. I am so excited to pray along with you through this new season in your life as well as through the next several seasons.

With Love,

Your Best Friend
